Cospower Engineering Limited operates a fully integrated manufacturing ecosystem purpose-built for high-reliability power capacitor systems — one where each stage of production, from winding to final electrical validation, is executed under a single controlled roof. The facility brings together five specialised manufacturing divisions — Clean Room, Vacuum Plant, Painting, Fabrication, and Testing — each equipped with technology sourced from globally recognised suppliers, creating a production environment that is difficult to replicate at scale.

Clean Room Division
Dedicated winding infrastructure — both automatic and semi-automatic — with integrated dry element testing at every stage, ensuring zero-defect insulation integrity before the capacitor element leaves the winding floor.
Vacuum Impregnation Plant
A multi-stage, high-vacuum impregnation system — capable of processing HT and LT capacitors simultaneously — backed by European-sourced vacuum and booster pump technology. A dedicated oil filtration and degassing circuit ensures dielectric purity at the point of fill.
Fabrication Division
Robotic and MIG welding, multi-tonnage power press, CNC-grade sheet bending and shearing, plus an in-house laser name-plate printing line — allowing Cospower to control enclosure quality and dimensional accuracy without third-party dependency.
Painting & Surface Treatment
A complete in-house surface treatment chain — shot blasting, phosphating, and controlled drying — coupled with a dedicated painting booth and oven, ensuring corrosion protection compliant with heavy-pollution outdoor environments.

TESTING — THE DEFINING DIFFERENTIATOR

What truly distinguishes Cospower is the depth and independence of its in-house testing infrastructure. The facility maintains a comprehensive bank of calibrated instruments covering the full electrical test spectrum — high voltage AC/DC testing up to 100 kV, capacitance and tan-delta measurement, insulation evaluation across multiple voltage ranges, power quality analysis to IEC 0.2S accuracy, and injection test capability. A dedicated shunt reactor bank enables functional testing of complete capacitor filter systems at rated reactive power levels, validating system behaviour — not just component parameters — before despatch. All instruments carry current calibration certificates, providing an auditable quality trail from raw material to finished product. This eliminates reliance on third-party test houses for routine qualification, reducing lead time and preserving test data confidentiality.
