Cospower Engineering Limited was founded in 2004 by Mr Oswald D'Souza and Mr Felix Kadam — two industry veterans with decades of hands-on experience in electrical engineering. They identified a persistent, costly, and widely underestimated challenge across industries: the problem of lagging power factor. Drawing on their deep domain expertise, they set out to build not just a product, but a complete power quality solution, the one that industries could rely on for the long term.

What began in a 1,200 square foot facility with a team of 10–12 people has grown into a 25,000 square foot manufacturing operation with over 100 professionals. In 2021, Cospower expanded into OEM manufacturing, significantly broadening its scope, capabilities, and global reach.

Two decades on, Cospower stands as a recognised force in reactive power compensation and power quality improvement, serving industries across the renewable and non-renewable sectors worldwide.
